As a business systems analyst you will focus on transactions in manufacturing operations. Experience supporting purchasing, receiving, materials management, work order management, and quality systems is highly desirable.

Experience working in a highly regulated environment (i.e.: F.D.A. or similar) is highly desired.

The Business System Analyst performs enterprise-wide research and analysis, resulting in written recommendations for a variety of strategies and solutions based on the business software applications used. The Business Analyst participates in all phases of the software development lifecycle; leads requirements gathering and documentation; and serves as a liaison between business and Information Technology. Partnering with business representatives at all levels of the company.
The Business System Analyst assesses, initiates, refines and drives appropriate business software solutions. In addition, is also responsible for communicating to and educating end-users on the software changes or new product functionality.
The Business System Analyst utilizes consulting and application skills, business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into Mizuho OSI's business environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - The qualifications below are the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to do this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Minimum of 3 years of programming/development experience with client interaction and application development. Proficient understanding of multiple software development lifecycles.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Experience with any ERP system is required; SAP preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills a must.
- Must understand client-server concepts and working knowledge of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL.
- Experience with change management/version control.
- Experience with test case and test scenario development.
- Experience with unit, system, and validation testing.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 server.
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server administration and analysis required.
- Strong experience with Business Analysis, Project Scoping, Design, Integration, Implementation, Training, and Customer Support.
- Must be very familiar with full-life cycle (SDLC) development and formal change management (CM) methodologies.
- Crystal Reports Experience.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Requires 3-4 years of related experience; minimum of three years of any ERP experience (SAP preferred). Experience with manufacturing operations modules including: MM, PP, QM (highly desired), PLM (a plus). Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
